Ever wondered what mom you are, or what mom you are likely to be, based on your Zodiac? Here are the 12 different Zodiac signs, and the traits they tend to have as mothers. 

Aquarius (January 20—February 18)

As intellectuals that place high importance on their education and constant learning and development, the Aquarius mom is likely to have a similar influence, and expectations, on her children. With this said, the Aquarius mom is also known to have a rebellious streak, and will likely foster a friend-type relationship with their child rather than a parenting one, which may in turn allow their children to feel comfortable being open and practising being true to themselves. 

Pisces (February 19—March 20)

The Pisces mom can be described in three ways: emotionally intelligent, sensitive, and compassionate to their children's needs. The Pisces mom is likely to be in tune with her children's emotions and feelings, and will likely be able to pick up when their child is having a bad day or needs words of affirmation. A Pisces mom places most importance on their children's character growth and artistic side, and may be less concerned with them meeting school deadlines or achieving certain grades in class. 

Aries (March 21—April 19)

The Aries mom is constantly on the go: whether it be signing their kids up for extra-curricular activities, sports, or planning the next engaging event for their children and even their friends. They enjoy the challenge of doing it all as moms, and are likely to have strong organisational skills to push them through their day. The Aries mom is also strong in their beliefs, and is likely to give their children ‘tough love’ in order to encourage them to be their best selves and work hard to earn their way in life. 

Taurus (April 20—May 20)

Taurus moms are ruled by Venus, the planet of aesthetics, and are likely to be both materialistic, and giving. The Taurus mom will always make sure their child has the best possible clothes, toys, and opportunities in life. The Taurus mom can be stubborn, yet practical and hardworking, and will encourage their children to have a similar outlook on life to gain the affluence or career they desire. 

Gemini (May 21—June 20)

Gemini moms are naturally conversational and approachable, and have a youthful disposition which can appeal to their children's creativity and exploration. They are playful and engaging, often known as the “fun moms.” They also have a natural ability to exceed in what they put their mind to, and encourage their children to do the same, whether that be in an academic sense or recreationally. The Gemini mom will raise well-rounded children that have a solid understanding of the work they have to put in to be successful in life. 

Cancer (June 21—July 22)

As some of the most loving and ‘motherly’ caretakers, Cancers will always ensure their children have a great home life to return to at the end of their school day. With excellent born maternal instincts, the Cancer mom is a natural caregiver, and will likely place the needs of her children and family before her own. Although they are on the passive side, they will always stand up for their kids when needed, and be a protective figure for them throughout their childhood. 

Leo (July 23—August 22)

Leos are naturally great at being friends with their children, thereby fostering an environment where their children feel comfortable being open and honest with them. As natural kids at heart, they are able to be creative in play with their children. However, being competitive characters, they may feel the urge to one up other parents and even their own children in their endeavours. It is important for Leo moms to remember not to compare themselves to others and stay true to themselves.

Virgo (August 23—September 22)

Virgo moms are known to be very protective of their young, some may say even overprotective at times, but with their best interest in mind. The Virgo mom enjoys feeling in control of their family and children's life, and are typically most comfortable when they have pre-determined rules in place for their children. On the other hand, Virgo moms tend to be practical and good with finances, important traits that will be passed on to their children.

Libra (September 23—October 22)

Libra moms are compassionate and selfless, and are likely to place the needs of their children before themselves or anyone else. They encourage their children to be good samaritans, and raise them with sound values and manners. They have a tendency to envision the life of their child that they wish them to have, and may encourage them to take a certain path in life that reflects their beliefs.  

Scorpio (October 23—November 21)

Scorpio moms are known to be passionate and involved mothers. They have an eye for detail and may notice certain characteristics or quirks in their child that others may not catch on. Although they tend to lack trust, they understand the importance of family and will do anything to cherish the time they have with their kids. They generally raise kids to be in tune with their emotions and independent. 

Sagittarius (November 22—December 21)

Sagittarius moms are known for their love of adventure and trying new things. They are likely to be very active, and partake in physical activities with their child. Although they may not be the most patient, they are quick to relax after a stressful situation and are good natured as parents. They have a positive outlook on life and tend to encourage their children to see things through a glass half full standpoint rather than glass half empty. They will likely take their children travelling, and show them different parts of the world and different cultures to broaden their horizon. 

Capricorn (December 22—January 19)

Capricorn mothers tend to have more strict and more rule-based parenting methods. They are likely to be concerned about their child following rules, achieving high grades, and sticking within their boundaries. With that said, they are also incredibly responsible and reliant mothers, and are likely to raise hard working and morally sound children as a result of their clear guidance.
